Police Checks w/ Vulnerable Sector Screening
PSW students are required to clear a Police Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within 90 days of starting the program. This is a more thorough police check as PSWs work with individuals whom are considered to be "Vulnerable" and more susceptible to abuse. These include the elderly, children and people with physical and mental health conditions. The police check process is dependent on the city where your primary address is located.
